برای بیان آرزوها و یا فرضیه‌ها و حسرت‌هایمان در آینده و یا حتی در زمان حال، می‌توان از گذشته استمراری استفاده کرد. در این مورد نیز مانند مورد قبلی، گرچه از گذشته استمراری استفاده می‌شود، اما مفهوم جمله مربوط به آینده است.
به عنوان مثال:
I wish I were lying on a beach now. (I’m sitting in the office) کاش میشد الان در ساحل دراز کشیده بودم. (الان در دفترم هستم)
I wish it weren’t raining. (It is raining) کاش باران نمی‌بارید. (دارد باران می‌بارد)
I wish you weren’t leaving tomorrow. (You are leaving tomorrow) کاش فردا نمی‌رفتی. (فردا داری میری)

Durov said on his Telegram channel today that the two and a half year blockchain and crypto project has been put to sleep. Ironically, after leaving Russia because the government wanted his encryption keys to his social media firm, Durov’s cryptocurrency idea lost steam because of a U.S. court. “The technology we created allowed for an open, free, decentralized exchange of value and ideas. TON had the potential to revolutionize how people store and transfer funds and information,” he wrote on his channel. “Unfortunately, a U.S. court stopped TON from happening.”
Why Telegram?
Telegram has no known backdoors and, even though it is come in for criticism for using proprietary encryption methods instead of open-source ones, those have yet to be compromised. While no messaging app can guarantee a 100% impermeable defense against determined attackers, Telegram is vulnerabilities are few and either theoretical or based on spoof files fooling users into actively enabling an attack.
